The Tennessee Caplock Style was built from a bunch of Dixie Gunworks parts and the Golden Age Style Longrifle was built mostly from Track of The Wolf parts. I still have enough parts to build a few more that I collected at Rendezvous and mail order companies back when they were half the cost of today or less. I wanted to have enough stuff for this hobby and others to keep busy when I retired. IMG_1825.JPG IMG_1826.JPG

Thanks, I shoot the percussion one the most but they both have Green Mountain Barrels and shoot great. The flint one I leave over the fireplace and don't get it out too often so as to keep it looking clean. I'm working on another flint so I have one to shoot and not worry about dinging and dirtying it up. I put the sights on before the breech plugs and bore sighted them so they shot very close to point of aim. I only had to do a little adjustment tapping and filing to get them where I wanted. Both are .45cal.

That caplock appeals to me. The simple flowing lines are just lovely ... like a beautiful woman.
Thanks, I don't do a lot of inlays or carving but I admire the work of those who can do it well. I just try for a well balanced, accurate shooter that I have done my best to get put together with quality parts.
