I really didn't think this stuff would dry up along with the black rifle ammo. Does anyone know a source to buy some? I can't find any online, a few places allow back order with expected dates that have passed. Anyone reload this stuff? I might start that.

7.7 Jap reloads as easily as .303 British with which it shares bore-size. I have made my 7.7 Jap cases from range-pickup .270 Win brass, re-sized and trimmed. I shoot cast bullets primarily the Lyman .314299/200 cast from WCWW over 16 grains of Alliant 2400. Great fun and accurate too. No need to worry about expensive, poorly fitting jacketed bullets. Shoots 2" 5-shot groups off the bench at 100 yards with Lyman receiver sight and original barleycorn front sight. Japs may be clunky but they can shoot if you feed them what they like.

I reload it, it's the only way to really shoot it a lot. Loaded ammo is kind of expensive. It's just as easy to load as any other full-size .30 caliber rifle cartridge. Just remember, it uses .310"-.311" bullets.
