I have a clutch of .22 pistols, including a couple of .22 conversion kits.
If you like the Browning, go for it. If you get a Ruger, get a packet of Mole Foam (tm) at the foot care center at Wal-Mart. Place a tiny square on the front strap behind the trigger, and it will just about eliminate backlash and improve the trigger more than anything else.
