I'm on a hunt for a semi auto shotgun only has to.shoot.2 3/4 it can be used and.ill sear h.for it.on.gun broker...looking for something closer to the 200 dollar range

Semiauto shotgun

Good

Under $200

===========

Two out of three is probably the best you're going to do, unless used guns are a lot cheaper in your neck of the woods than they are here... a pump would be pretty easy in that price range though...

Around here, even beater 11s are going to more than $200. You may get lucky,though.

What's the mission? Birds, clays,defense, revolution?....

I don't know of any new semi-autos around 200, but probably good find a good used piece for around that price. If you would settle with a pump, the Maverick guns put out by Mossberg are great shotguns for the money. I have both the field and security models....smooth and reliable! Most everything from a 500 will fit them.

ignore this, I read this as pump for some reason.

Like every one else said that's a tall order BUT if I were you I would be keeping my eyes open for auctions. Large 2-3 day auctions with multiple rings going at once(split up the people) or "sportsman" type auctions with only guns, bows hunting and related items.

Your probably not going to find a $200 remington 1100, or a benelli m1, but I'm sure you you'll be able to find a number of jc higgens, Stevens, western field, etc. Yeah there used and at $200 some better models may have bluing wear or even a little rust but as long as you look them over good and make sure they function well your golden.

Personally I like buying used guns because number one: they are cheaper than new(and if you do your homework and know how to check them over before buying there shouldn't be any reason to worry about them being used)

Number two: they are usually better made ie less plastic more milling, ready to last a few lifetimes

And third: they just have more character than new guns. But hey that's just me

Around here, I've seen a few Winchester 1400s for under $300.
I kick myself for not snagging a prewar A-5 for $275. It was on the used rack at a store. I went home to research online, came back and of course it was gone.
