I have several guns that I like to carry and I would like to move to a common holster platform. I have some pretty specific criteria. Please point me in the right direction.

The Gun
Springfield XDS (The new single stack .45acp). I am looking for something Kydex that is very slim to go IWB. My strong preference is for a single clip that can slip on and off my belt quickly and easily. The gun is light weight so I don't need a massive two clip / super spread out design with leather backing like a corssbreed or comp tac. I just need something that's really thin (leveraging the slim lines of the gun) and easy on and easy off. I would also like the holster to have a forward cant.

If this one works out I will order more for my other carry guns 1911's/Glocks.

Thanks guys.

If you want thin Kydex, check out the Blade-Tech Nano. I think it meets your other criteria as well.

Thanks. I just looked at the Nano. The criteria is close (it has two loops rather than a clip)...even if I could live with the loops (maybe) unfortunately they don't make it for the XDs. I might look at the Nano though for my G19.

I have a Raven, and it is a very good holster, but due to the design, I don't think any of them come with a single clip. They do offer a double clip, but that's not what the OP is looking for.

I haven't been to their site for awhile. They no longer offer the overbooks, just C-hooks and J-hooks. However, their mounting hardware is such you could use hooks from other kydex makers. The Raven is just not suitable for a single clip mount, though.

Let me know if you reconsider leather, I have an XDS 3.3 and am turning out holsters for them currently. I'm always interested in collaborating on custom designs.

You can have slim in leather too ;)

Sorry, I now see it is already posted.
Jim went out of his way to make sure my magazine carriers worked with the little bit of overhanging belly I have, and it WORKED!

I cannot give him enough positive responses, he is so good, IMO!

Both affordable and excellent. C5 leather replaced a defective holster, no questions asked. Excellent.

Google-Fu PJ Holsters.

I said what I wanted via e-mail, confirmed and fine tuned the request by land-line voice, rec'd the product in two weeks. The need was for a more fwd angle for access when seated and strapped in. I'm impressed with the service as well as the finished goods. He made mine for a single stack Kahr.

As much as I like leather, for future use, I may have gone over to The Dark Side.
