Does anyone have any experience with and/or suggestions for a case to carry an AR15 along with a separate upper (or maybe two)? My stock AR has a 16 inch barrel and I would like to transport my Varminter, 24 inch, upper in the same bag to shoots. I've seen ads for several 'tactical' bags w/ a separator that claim to protect two guns but am looking for experiences. I don't intend to use this case for airline travel; so, that's not a requirement. Just something that will travel in my backseat. I'd like to stay in the $100-200 range.

Thanks.

Voodoo Tactical cases are what you're looking for. They have ones that will hold two full guns or ones that will hold a full rifle and have a smaller area for pistols that will hold another upper just fine. Plus the Molle pockets on the outside carry just about everything you would take to the range or the field.

I love mine. I have one for my AR, one for my shotgun and I'm getting another for my Marlin XS7C.

Also think outside the box.
I use soft guitar cases for my AR.
They don't shout, "GUN!"
My favorites are by "Coffin Case" and can often be found on E-Bay for a song.

I don't know about all that high dollar gear, but I have a $50 black dog case that protects my rifle and one other upper (though if I bought a foam sheet I could fit 2 - 3 more uppers in the bag or else another rifle and another upper) It's a softside case and has pouches for 4 mags and a zipper pouch for other gear.
