I have went to a trigger guard holster and AIWB although I have many other holsters.
There several makers out there but most seem to be the same except for the Raven Vanguard 11. Most are just formed Kydex but the Vanguard is molded of some type of plastic

I second the Remora. I have one for my G26 and use it mostly for appendix carry and really like it. They also are on sale right now for around $14 plus shipping.

My opinion is the Glock guns need a rigid holster to protect the trigger since there no no manual safety and no hammer you can guard when holstering.

I'm not an appendix carry guy, but I'm on a forum where appendix carry is very popular. Very few are fans of Glock/M&P type guns in the appendix position. Most are using kydex appendix holster for their guns.

Sticky is another option that works the same way as the remora. I love my sticky holster. I didnt think I could carry the g26, but with the sticky holster I can.

Upsides, when you take the gun out you can leave it in the holster. Much less chance of negligent discharge as the gun never leaves the holster.

Downside, it isnt attached to anything so when you use the bathroom you have to put your gun down. This makes using urinals sketchy. Some stalls dont have any place to lay a gun down.

Maybe use one of these. Attach some 550 cord to the hole in the guard and the other end to your belt or belt loop. That would ~help~ prevent it from falling down into your pants, and would safe the trigger as well. When you draw it will pull off once it reaches the end of the cord. It wold also keep your trigger finger away from the trigger until its cleared your body.

with regards to needing a rigid holster for reholstering, a remora/sticky style holster does not allow you to one hand reholster. To reholster you take the holster out, holster with two hands and then put the holster back into the waistband. I dont see one handed reholstering as a top priority for me.

Certainly we all have different needs from our holsters.

I suspect practicing drawing from a Remora/Sticky holster could be somewhat cumbersome and if those are the procedures you must use, I'd suspect most would forgo practicing draws rather than dismount the holster whenever you needed to reholster. That would no doubt make training very difficult.

This is pretty old, and I'm sure most of us have seen this, but for those that haven't… http://www.itstactical.com/warcom/f...her-holsters-can-cause-accidental-discharges/

High Noon's "Lite Duty" IWBs are about as thin and light as you can get in leather. Forget about any kind of quick reholstering, and even they will tell you that. Or a Kydex. FIST make some in an extra thin .040" material, the usual being .080".
