I just think there are really kool rifles after see them online cheapest i have saw them for was 240 in fair shape for a Enfield No. 4 Mk 1 any one know a better deal before i order?

thanks

As one who went through several "low cost" Enfield clunkers before finally wising up & spending the money for a good one- may I suggest you don't waste your time with one in "fair" shape?
There are so many Enfields floating around in "fair" shape that turn out to be poor examples of the classic rifle that I would not gamble on one. Bores are bad, headspacing is off, wood is cracked, shrunken, mismatched or severely dinged, and so on.

If you want a great rifle, take the time to put enough money together & find a GOOD one.

Take it from one who learned the hard way over a period of several years.
A good Enfield is well worth the time & money it takes to acquire.

You can read about the really good/excellent examples often seen at "Joesalter.com", but gun shows can be your best bet for actual deals.
A decent #4 with matching bolt/action can list for about $200-300 within two hours of Memphis. Mine was at $300, but a guy with a good Savage only wanted $200 at the Batesville, MS show last summer.
The guy with the good Savage could not remember how to remove the bolt and so I kept on walking to find an ATM, to buy the other, though higher-priced. For me, the bore condition is the primary objective: A low price does nothing for me if the bore is dull and worn.

Joesalter's retail prices can be high, but his descriptions of the better rifles can help when checking over good Enfields at gun shows.
My second "Jungle Carbine" listed for only $350 last September at the Memphis show, certainly average condition for the age, pretty accurate. They are very handy carbines with good power.

The first #5 came from "Joesalter", but I did not want to pay any more shipping+FFL costs, there for now only buy at shows.
What a shame that so many Battle Rifles appear to have been sporterized over the decades. I never give these a second glance.

+1 on all the above. Simpsons is another dealer with good Enfields. Be aware there are many Khyber Pass copies, avoid those like the plague. There are some LE that have been come in from Turkey, I would avoid those unless you are sure of the rifle. The best shooting LE's are the newer, 49 and up Mk2's. There are some very nice ones in the 300-350 area. There are some good deals around, $200 and up, just check the bore and head space.
