Yeah, I don't have the latest skinny on the suppressor market, so I figured I'd ask you guys. I was leaning toward a Gemtech, but don't really know of any other major players in the market. Any recommendations or information would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

oh btw, I'm looking to spend hopefully $500 or less on this, so that leaves ~$300 for the suppressor after the NFA tax.

Tactical Innovations cans are around $200. The decibel meter may be able to tell the difference between one of them and a Gemtech or AWC, but I can't with my ear.

Best bang for the buck in .22 cans.

See silencertests.com for reviews.

I sell more TacInv .22 cans than any other brand, strictly because of the cost.

Yeah, I just found the TI ones, the Tac-65 looks like it's the way to go.

Now I just need to get some forms, fill em out, and find out what local cleo will sign off on the form.

I would go with an AAC Pilot. That's the one I am looking at (need a .22 suppessor for the 10/22 and a hopefully future P22 :) ) and my budget is the same. They retail for $350 and did really well on silencertests.com.
I might have to check out the tact. innov. cans if they are that cheap and effective.

My Gemtech Outback cost 300 & transfer; Love it and the company who stands by their work. Also am very happy with the wipeless conversion on my Sionics 380 can by Dr. Dater. It seems they are the only ones really helping the NFA community with stuff like that.
