I have a timing issue... I think. Sometimes I get a primer hit that's more off center than I'd like to see. Most of the time, 49/50, all firing pin / primer hits are dead center. Shooting double action. One of these times things aren't going to be lined up quite right. Makes me a little nervous. :banghead:

What is the cause of this and how do I adjust it?

I'm trying to stay away from the factory just yet. There's so many experienced folks here at THR, that I'd like to get edumucated from before I go that route. Besides, sending to the factory for repair isn't tops on my list of future experiences. If there's a part that's suspect, then I can probably just order and replace. That way my very versital pistol (pak) is not gone for long.

My first question what Model?
Second question has the gun ever been disassembled for a thorough cleaning?
If the answer to the second is no, that's where I would begin.
If you want to clean it and need help taking the revolver apart drop me a PM.

15-2VH and yes, it's had thorough cleanings. That's what baffles me, is the 'once in a while' I have to deal with. She's fired each time, but I'm leary of the one that's not lined up correcly.
