I recently purchased a Dan Wesson .357 (interchangable barrel model 15 I think) and when firing double action won't shoot relaibly. SA works great but DA causes light primer strikes. I replaced the main spring and firing pin with factory parts but still same problem I am shooting hand loads with CCi primers which work well in 4 other revolvers. Anyone have suggestions?

When you are changing a barrel, be sure you hold it all of the way back, before you put a feeler guage between the cylinder and barrel to adjust the gap. Screw the barrel in back to the feeler guage, and then install the shroud and barrel nut.
