I just spent a few bucks on a new custom target gun that's going to be built up in the next few weeks. I'd like to work with a few experienced shooters so I can get started the right way without burning too much ammo and tearing my hair out.
I can get .223's out to 500 yards, but I'd like to work from 600 to 1200 yards when I get my 6.5mm rifle back. My biggest weaknesses, aside from having practically no experience shooting at these ranges, are scope adjustments and reading the wind.
Is there anyone on the Western Slope I can shoot with to get some experience? Also, are there any long range shooting clubs out here?
