Ruger MK II. It will be more accurate and reliable than the others and last a lifetime or more.

And, as i said before, i won't be able to hit anything.

Does anyone know of thread adapters for the S&W 22A?

Sig Mosquito...

I bought a Sig Mosquito because I loved the way it feels. Bad choice!! It just hasn't performed the way I would like. It won't group for crap and jams constantly. I would have to go with a Ruger if I had it to do over again.....

I like both the U22 Neos and the S&W 22A
I hope I'm not intruding, but I'm also going to be in the market for my first .22 pistol (and first pistol in general). I've shot the Neos and it seemed pretty nice, but the sights were very wide. Are there different sights available? Also, how reliable is the S&W 22A? Ive heard some good very good things about the accuracy, but conflicting reports on the reliability and durability.
for some reason the rugers just don't do anything for me, and I like the browning buckmark, but it's a little more expensive than the others.

i know a lot of people dis them, but i really like my walther p22. i have had a ruger mkII a while ago, it was nice also, i really do not remember why i sold it to be honest. it was butt ugly though. unless you like that german luger look. my older brother thinks that anything other than a browning buckmark is junk. but what does he know. i am certain there are a lot of nice firearms out there that are just as good or better. anyway, find one that is in your budget, that you like the looks of and FITS YOU WELL. and you should be happy. make sure you try dry firing it BEFORE you buy it. you dont want to get it home and find out it has a horrible trigger! then, buy tons of ammo! these things are addicting.
