LOOKING FOR OPINIONATED, OUTSPOKEN PEOPLE TO BE PART OF A PANEL DISCUSSION FOR A NEW, CABLE DEBATE SHOW ON THE MTV NETWORKS.

We are looking for a Los Angeles-based gun advocate who feels passionately that gun control violates our rights as Americans. The show is similar to Crossfire/ Politically Incorrect; you would be a guest and participate in a panel discussion.

Please contact me via email and I will provide you with the details.

The show will be taping in Los Angeles on May 18, 2004 at 5pm. We provide travel and an honorarium.

    :p

On a more serious note, I'm sure there are a few CA gun advocates who might be interested.
good luck to whomever you find and I hope the show provides a fair representation of both sides.

    Not a chance

I don't see any gun owner getting any type of a break as long as they live in California. It's just gotta be or very close to the top of the most Anti-Gun States in all of the United States. I lived and worked there over 30 years ago and it was not bad then. But I left in the late 60s now it's not even on my screen anymore. Don't even care to visit it.

    good one TCD.
If its anything like the debate between John Lott and the local MMM stooge it will be a sad sight to watch.

MMM lady : Guns shoot cop killer bullets, 30,000 kids a day die, John lott, you kill children

Lott: boring refutation of each "statistic"

MMM lady: but assault weapons bullet hoses pocket rockets!!!!

Lott: boring refutation of each "statistic".

Even though Lott was 'factually correct' the women clearly had the emotion of the audience swayed in her direction. If any gunnie decides to go on the show, they would do well to read John Ross' article on "going on the offensive". Don't let anti-gunners frame the debate in terms of "saving just one life", frame the debate in terms of how many people "gun control" has killed and will kill.

seriously, please no white males, too easy to discount..."They simply don't understand the unique <blank> experience, they don't understand the harm caused by guns. (because statistically speaking, the odds of a white male getting blown away are miniscule.)

I would like to know when this show airs. Plus we would need a heavy hitter on this one seeing how it might be 6 against 1. Maybe our fearless leader Oleg should step up to the bat, or if no one steps up then they are liable to find some hillbilly in a straw hat and overalls to represent us.

    More complete WHOIS info:

    Wexler video is at http://www.wexlervideo.com/wexlerpages/home/home-main.html

...and it looks like an equipment rental business, not a production company.

You have to think they may not want anyone too well-spoken and coherent either, so they make gun owners out as fools.

    Jim's right

These people came here and agreed to the rules of conduct and, in their one and only post, immediately broke those rules of conduct by spamming the forum.
