I am looking for new guns to add to my collection, I have owned a Springfield XD40, Springfield GI 1911, EAA Witness 45, Kimber SIS, Beretta 92fs, Beretta 9000s 9mm, Beretta Storm 9mm, and I currently own a S&W 357Mag and a Sig Sp2022(EDC). Does anyone have any standout recommendations? Something that is just amazing in terms of price, quality, accuracy, etc. I'm trying to keep the price under $800. Also if there is anyone in the Houston area who'd be willing to let me shoot theirs I'd gladly pay for the ammo and buy lunch. :D
Thanks.

I know I'll get a lot of flack for recommending this gun, but it is truly the most intriguing, unusual, accurate, reliable, comfortable, well constructed, and controversial gun I've ever owned.

HK P7

It is truly unlike ANY gun you've got listed up there. You can pick up a real nice Grade A version for about $650 - $750. Trust me, you won't be sorry. Good luck and happy shooting!

What did or didn't you like about the guns you've listed? The CZ 75B is well liked, but if you didn't like the ergos of your EAA Witness, then you may not like the CZ. Lots of folks seem to love the Ruger semi autos, especially the SR9 and SR9c. Glocks are greeat but some say they lack personality. Walther's are expensive, but people sing them praise as well.

I like the EAA Witness 9mm, loved it in fact. My friend had one. And the guns I sold not because I didn't like them but because someone made me an offer I couldn't refuse or just for the ability to try different ones.

It's not a collection without a CZ. My CZ SP-01 is my favorite handgun. I was not a fan of 9mm until I discovered CZ. The CZ 97BD is also a cool gun. It's as accurate as my 1911s, while being almost half the price and it has 2 extra rounds of capacity too.
