i have a mitchell arms SA 44mag arm spring assembly has broken flat spring
other half is missing need to find part jack and numrich not help full have no ideal of actual lenght so fabrication is to risky need part or part schematics
please help
There are three flat springs in a SA revolver, the hand spring that spingloads the hand so it will turn the cylindar, the trigger/bolt spring and the mainspring.
The chances are very good that Mitchell had/put their name on a product made by someone like Uberti
So look at schematics for Uberti, EMF, Cimirron and many more names, find the part in the schematic and order it.
Or call Numrich on the phone tell then what you are looking for and let them guide you.
Not everyone understands the correct nomenclature to describe gun parts, and different words can, and often are, used by various manufacturers to identify the same part. I agree that the revolver in question is of Italian origin, and VTI Gunparts specialize in parts for various Italian S.A. revolver models. I suspect they can figure this one out.
The odds are probably slim, but I JUST recieved the Midway annual catalog. In the "gunsmithing section" they had revolver "flat spring kits" and listed some users.
