I recently bought a saiga 20 gauge and this five round clip is weak. The 12 gauge has a ten round clip and a drum... does anyone know where(or who)might be able to find one. I heard about one through my old man, but he couldnt remeber the site where he found it.

Mississippi Auto Arms. Google them, they have the best selection of Saiga accessories I have found and they ship fast.

cool

thanks... will try it out. The 12 guage is next on my list. the 20 gauge fell in my lap 4 dirt cheap. couldnt pass it up.

The 10 and 12 round magazines are crap. The feed angle is so steep that dented brass is often the result.

Stick to the 5 rounders, and learn to reload quicker. What's "weak" is when your shotgun jams up because you wanted to play Rambo and have a giant magazine.

Wow, you've got a clip-fed Saiga? I bet those things are bulky as all hell.

I have several APG ten rounders that run great. I know many people that run them sans problem as well.

Does Saiga make a semi-auto in 20 gauge?

Too funny! My Saiga 20 is an out-of-the-box, single shot, semi-auto too! :neener:

I've use AKs before and I was very impressed with their reliability, so I thought that a shotgun built on a similar action might be as reliable too. I couldn't believe that a gun dealer would sell me a brand new semi-auto for $200 (Summer of 2003) and now I know why!

In all fairness, the Saiga 20 is a different animal than its big brother in 12 gauge. I'm a tinkerer and it's working better even though I'm plodding through it, but from my experience so far this will be a work-in-progress for some time...:banghead:

ALL the Saigas are built on the same fixtures EXCEPT the 12 gauge.

The 12 gauge is different in many areas, while all the other Saigas are (aside from chambering-related differences) compatible with any standard Kalashnikov accessory.
