Looking for some Colt DA knowledge...

I wastalking to a friend of minr and he wanted to sell me a colt DA revolver in either nickle or stainless with a 8 in barrel. Anyine know what models were made with those specs... I know it is broad details but I figured I would ask??

The Python Hunter was made in 8" configuration in blue and nickel.

Colt made the following revolvers with an 8" barrel. Some models were available in nickel, and a few in stainless:

The Colt Python. (Including several limited production models) Stainless and nickel. .38 Special Target model, and .357 Magnum.

The Colt Trooper Mark III. Nickel only. .22LR, .22 Magnum, .357 Magnum.

The King Cobra. Stainless. .357 Magnum.

The Anaconda. Stainless. .45 Colt?? .44 Magnum.
