Looking for Standard Recoil Guide and Plug for 1911

The only standard guide plug and guide I can find is from Ed Brown (nothing wrong with that, but just wondering if there's other options out there).

Anywhere else online I can find what I'm looking for? All I can seem to find is FLGRs

Check with about any pistolsmith. He will likely have takeoffs from FLGR buyers. That is where I got the GI parts to get my gun under IDPA CDP weight limits.

I've gotten mine from Brownell's (Ed Brown) or...

My kimber has a FLGR, is it possible just to swap it out for the standard parts? Which ones do I need?

Yes. I just did that via the Ed Brown standard G.I. size recoil spring guide and plug. Works fine.

Rod'n'Plug

Just in case...Be aware that a Commander-length pistol doesn't work with the GI standard guide rod, plug, recoil spring, or barrel bushing.
