I had mentioned this before, and someone mentioned that even though they didn't specifially offer holsters for Bersas, that the PPK models should be close.

I bat the idea around my head for a bit, then decide to take it to the source and e-mail Ken Null to ask. I was kinda hoping that he might have gotten a Bersa in since the last site update, but no such luck. But he DID say that he could make a PPK model and allow for a wider slide. (he said that the different shape of the triggerguards between the 2 guns makes no difference)

I still have the manual for my Bersa, but...well, let's say it's "mothballed" somewhere with other papers and books I don't want to part with. A quick 'net search tells me the Bersa is 1.3 inches or 33mm wide. The Walther, 0.98 inches or 25mm wide.

$55 shipped isn't a really huge chunk of change, but cash is a bit tight (naturally) this time o' year. I'm a little nervous to be a "test case!" But I guess I could look at it as a Christmas+Birthday present to myself! :D

But before I decide to do ANYthing, I want to make sure I get the CORRECT WIDTH of the Bersa so I'll have that to give to Mr. Null! ;) And at the moment, the only measuring tool handy is a WELL-worn wooden folding ruler...!

I purchased a less expensive holster from CTD for a PPK. It was a little tight on my Bersa Duo Tone until I used a little hot water on it to help reshape. Fits great for a $29 holster.

Would it be possible to ship your Bersa to them so that they could use it as a pattern?

He didn't mention, and I didn't ask. Just because I've never had anything lost in the mail so far, I don't think "Murphy" has gone away yet. ;) Come to think of it, I *did* once have something damaged via UPS...!

EDIT - all right, borrowed my brother's calipers (and him) to get precise. GOOD THING too, since the 33mm - or 36mm depending on where you look - are apparently MAXIMUM width counting the grips as well! :uhoh:

The width of just the slide (not counting the safety) is 7/8 of an inch.

I await a reply to see if it's do-able! :D

How do you like it? I was thinking of one for my Bersa but thought the Bersa may be too heavy for it.

I am thinking this holster would work well for me when wearing a suit or sport jacket. I think it would be optimal with something like a kel-tec.

So far I like it pretty good. It really is concealable under even a thin shirt. The first day I wore it, it did seem a tad heavy - but then again, this is the FIRST shoulder holster I've owned (save for an "el cheapo" nylon rig a few years back. And Day Two seemed better. Just a matter of getting used to it, I imagine.

One caveat was that access to the gun is a bit slower than I'd imagined. Not releasing it from the holster, but getting the proper grip to do so. But, I'm kind of a "big boy," thus there's a bit more of "me" to reach around to get to it! :D That, and I think I still need to fine-tune the fit of the harness.

There are no holsters for bersa's?:uhoh:

Fobus makes a holster and so does blanchi. BTW I hope your not using your bersa for CCW :scrutiny:

Holster for my Bersa T380

Hi Green Lantern;
I'm at present recovering from Santa budgeting, and think that I'm going to order a leather OWB holster from El Paso Saddlery. They make the 'Allegiance' to the weapon size, and there is adjustment capability via a tension screw. It costs $125.00. They have a catalog, and cater to, among others, Cowboy Action Shooters. My interest is for concealed carry.

I carry my Bersa daily in a Tucker holster and have another holster coming for ir. There are many holsters available for the Bersa. The KL Null is a unique design that was not made for the bersa until this one, that I know of.

What is wrong with carrying a Bersa as a CCW? It is more reliable than some of my high dollar guns right out of the box. Hits what I point it at and has never jammed. I don't see any problems with it.

"myusername" pretty well hits the nail on the head with his reply. Plenty of holsters out there for the Bersa, just none from Mr. Null, SMZ or otherwise.

And while my G19 is my main CCW gun, I too ask what's wrong with the Bersa??? Is it the gun, or the caliber? All I can say about the .380 is that I don't know about you, but *I* wouldn't enjoy taking a few Remington 88gr JHPs to the chest. Much less some Cor-Bon DPX! :D

If it's the gun, then fret not, at least for me. My Thunder .380 is also accurate, and has only jammed on two occasions:

1) when I fed it some Wolf ball....:uhoh: -not to Bash Wolf in general, it's just that my Bersa don't like it.

2) when I was a green gun noob....I think it was a combo of limp-wrist plus too much lube. It's never done it since I corrected both issues. ;)

Well as far as my Bersa, I had the trigger spring part
num 22, break as well as the hammer strut that the
main spring sits on. I found a spring here at the house
to replace the OEM one and I made the strut out of a
pc of flat plate I had here at the house. Other than
these two things, that's all that has gone wrong.

I don't know about other's Bersa's, but mine ejects
the spent casing almost right back into my mug. I
don't care for that much..

I picked up a Null SMZ for my 642 off EBay awhile back. It seems to work well with a lot of other pistols as well, including my full size SIG's. It seems pretty secure, but I'm a little leery of it if you get things moving physically. That snap pops pretty easily.

My only real complaint with it so far is, it needs an elastic piece somewhere, like at or near the tie down so it has some give. I keep popping the clip when I bend over and it really binds you up if you use the loop itself on your belt.

I do like the minimal aspect of the SMZ, but right now, I feel a little more secure and comfortable with my Galco Executive for the 642.

Is it the gun, or the caliber?

Your triggers action is fully exposed on the side of the gun, Put slight pressure on the bar on the right side of the gun then try pulling the trigger.

If your in a scuffle and someone grabs your gun its in operable, and if you pull the trigger to hard while there is pressure on the bar youll break a few internals.:banghead:
