The next presentation of Attorney Andrew Branca's Law of Self Defense Level 1 on-line course is scheduled for April 25. The format provides for Q&A. I strongly recommend the course.

About half of the 'seats' have already been reserved.

There will be two more classes later in the year.

As of 2/5/20 I am half-way through the DVD version of Branca's Law of Self Defense course (current as of 2017). All I can say is it is EXCELLENT, and i agree with Kleanbore that everyone should take it, either live online or streaming download or DVD. I bought the course after hearing Branca speak at the NRA Personal Protection Expo in Fort Worth in September.
Noteworthy: even though Branca and Massad Ayoob teach effectively competing courses, they each recommend the other's course (Massad wrote the introduction to Branca's book on the topic). So far on the DVD Branca has recommended students also take Ayoob's course and he also recommended student use John Correia's Active Self Protection (ASP) instruction. He used one of Corriea's ASP Youtube videos in the course.

Two items:
1. I do not see information on the live course on the Law of Self Defense web site. Do you have a link?
2. The DVD version of the Level 1 core course is on closeout sale. I assume a new updated version is in the works.
Full course plus one State course for $99.95:

I just finished the Core course and will start my state course in a day or two.
Well worth it!

The announcement popped up in one of the Case of the Week presentations.

Thanks. Apparently that happened only if watching the video live on FaceBook.
Be aware that if you do a web search for the course, you will find obsolete pages on Branca's site that are still accessible from the search results, with old descriptions and prices for his courses. To get the right info, only follow links from his site home page (that is how I found the closeout sale page).

The evidence is that Andrew Branca is conducting a clearance sale on both DVDs and books, presumably preparing to release updated versions of both. However, he has made no mention of new versions waiting in the wings.
For the best deal, first go to the FREE BOOK order page at
https://lawofselfdefense.com/cts-free-book-offer/ (Pay no attention to the zeroed-out sale timer. He advertised the book deal in his 2/12/20 weekly video as https://lawofselfdefense.com/ctsbook which goes to the above link.)
and place your order for the free 2016 3rd edition of his book, paying $8.95 for shipping and handling.
Once you complete that page, you are taken to a deep discount page to add to the order the online course in DVD, streaming, or both. The 4-disc DVD is only $49.95. The price there is even better than his Clearance Sale page for just the online course.

I just finished the entire DVD set and am working my way through the book (lots of highlighting), now. There are several URLs he gives in the DVD that are no longer valid, but the course material itself is solid. Branca recommends keeping notes or records to prove you have taken the course. I kept a notebook as I watched the DVDs, and by marking up the book, that also will show actual course completion.
I urge folks to take advantage of the entire package, including adding your State Supplement DVD.
