Losing Sleep

My mother (who has kept a revolver closeby for 30 years in a household where my father would rather not have guns) stunned me after Sandy Hook by saying that she felt assault rifles should be banned completely because they're not useful except for killing people.

A little individual education (a little openness... tovarisch) is the key to turning things around in the face of the main stream media assault. Have faith and keep teaching!

Thanks for all the comments guys! It's hard to think about your own family members on the other side of a freedom issue. I've been writing letters and emails and doing all I can. At least all of this has gotten me to take action that I didn't before, such as donating to NRA-ILA. Thanks for the advice.
