:banghead: This happened about a month ago so I have been down since. I made contact with Precision sights who is LPA's importer. They said they would send the parts a few different times but nothing yet and I have little hope.

I also lost one of the preload springs when it popped out but I tried a GP100 spring in there and they fit. Actually they are taller which puts more preload so better when up. I just can't locate a replacemement elevation screw.

Nobody has them. Anyone have a source?

Was the sight ON the gun when you bought it? Could EAA have the part? (I know that they use a different adjustable on some of their guns...)

Have you checked with a local gunsmith? They sometimes have odd parts that can work, or can be adjusted to work...

Eaa doesn't have sight parts. It was on the gun but shook the screw loose. Wish a gunsmith was near here.

Spoke with Henning on the phone. He doesn't have any sight parts other than a brand new rear.

I'd call Precision Sights every day until I got the screw in my hand....Customer Service?
They don't need no stinking customer service.....they've got your money already sounds like at least they're happy with the deal.

Find the manufacturer on the inter web and let them know how the importer is handling THEIR customers in the USA! Just my opinion mind you but I'd never bother with that brand again. I shudder to think how they will handle the next problem you may have with their gun.

I'm sorry I can't be of more help to you but you did help me, I can put EAA and Precision Sights on my do not buy list.

I call Precision everyday. Calling again tomorrow and I e-mailed LPA International twice now but no response.

I'm kind of with you on some of what you are saying. If I get a sight set it will be of a make which parts are available right here in the USA.

I busted my Ruger GP100 rear sight about two weeks ago and found the parts all over for the sight. I just purchased a brand new one for $21 to my door and had it in 4 days.

Intercooler,

Drill and re-tap. EAA customer service is the pits. Precision is a joke. I have e-mailed and called "PSI" on numerous occassions, even managed to speak to "Jay" once. He apologized profusely for not responding.

He has done nothing. If LPA is satisfied with this type of service (and from all indications they are), you need to do something else.

I can't imagine treating my customers like this.

Wow. So I got Jay on the phone today and he couldn't remember the pieces so they weren't even shipped. A week or so ago they were supposedly shipped... he asked me to send an e-mail again so I'm a month into it and no parts. Parts will be a big factor in my next purchase as will customer service!

See if they can tell you what size screw, such as 6-32 x 1/4" or whatever, then buy one (or a small pack) from a parts supply house. That's what I did when I forgot to use loctite on a set screw after swapping sights. I bought a 100 pack for less than <$5 if I evr lose one again I have spares. I assume the Witness part may be metric, but you can order those from plenty of online suppliers. Look for someone like McMaster Carr rather than a firearms place once you find the size.

Guns rarely use standard screw sizes and pitches.
Could be, but the example I gave is a real world one. It's the set screw size from my Harrison Extreme Duty rear sight. If you go to a good supply house (online or otherwise) you can find non-standard sizes, too, so it's worth the OP asking what size it is - especially given his trouble having them send one to him.

Went to the hardware store today and a m3x5 or 6 seemed to fit fine. Only thing they had was a Phillips style. No locks or anything to keep it from loosening.

See what I'm talking about? I would be stunned if you ever get anything. I have been trying to place a fairly large stocking order for LPA sights (around 1K or more) and "Jay" won't give me the time of day, answer my e-mails, phone calls, etc.

Seems LPA and Tanfoglio (both of Italy) are a customer service match made in heaven:banghead:
