I lost the elevation screw on my 45ACP Match, also one of the springs.
I can't buy just the screw or little spring, tried Enos, Hennings and EAA.

Does anyone know someone else that I could cantact?
So guys that have these fine guns, be aware of this, just a heads up, no support from EAA, they want to sell me the whole rear sight:eek:

Thanks for input, Floyd

I was able to talk them into sending me a whole rear sight gratis about a year ago. Just told them that the thing disassembled itself under recoil and they sent a new one. Seems like their CS people are somewhat mercurial... catch them on a good day and be nice, and they'll treat you OK. Trouble is, they seem to have a lot of bad days, too!

If you find a replacement screw that works, please post the source. I'd like to grab a few. And loc-tite the new one!

I have a 38 Super also, trouble is one has to have the rear sight very high on these guns, thus the set screw doesn't have much tension on it, my 45 ACP is the same way--I always did check the screws after every range trip, but alas, it got away from me.
I guess the only recourse is to buy the fixed FO set from Henning's.

EAA would not budge on the screw or sight, great CS to say the least.

Thanks,Floyd

Yep, my 10mm is the same way.

I keep meaning to put in some longer springs to keep the sight under better tension.

Also the rear sights break every now and then so having a complete unit probably wouldn't be a terrible idea anyway.

Well, I ordered the sight package from Henning's, the target rear and the fiber optic front.
I am finished with the crappy sights on the Match pistols.
Henning is a super nice guy to do business with, very informative and knowledgable, I am sure I will be very pleased.
If this mod works great, I will be ordering the sights for my 38 Super as well.
Thanks everone for your input, Floydster

If I remember well the sights of the Witness are made by LPA. So I think the treads are metric. Try to contact LPA: http://www.lpasights.com/. Or even the builder of the gun, Tanfoglio. You can also check midway.com: they have many many little screws and springs in their online catalogue.

Looks like EAA is still working hard to cement their title of "Firearms Company With the Worst Customer Service in the Industry".
