First, I have found THR to be very informative. I visit every day, so not to miss anything.

I recently lost all my book marks over Christmas. One Site I thought to be informative was: ??????????

A posting somewhere stated that the Website had gone to subscription access only. Found that not to be true. Some info is by subscription, but not all. Yes , I was there, would have swore I bookmarked it, but have reviewed all my bookmarks and not there......

Believe it was by one of the many gun authors in the various magazines, not John Taffin. I have his website.

The website gave explanations and reviews on firearms and ammo by category.

He had quite a long page of the various reviews. No, it wasn't GunBlast either.

My eyes are going buggy looking at posts trying to bring this up. I.ve tried various search methods, but can't narrow the search sufficiently to bring up any valuable info close to identifying the site.

ANY IDEAS ANYONE.

Appreciate the help.

Welcome Kevin! :) Glad you have shrugged off ''lurker only'' status!

I think your link could be the one sought after. But .. LCSNM ..... I could if you need it .. point you to a zip file of my gun related bookmarks . I set up that for someone a while back who had lost all his links.

In fact it needs updated ... but if you need or want a large set of links . albeit not too well organized .... let me know and I'll show you where to get them.

Talk about fast response. Thank You very much!!!!!! That is the one I was looking for.

P95 Appreciate the offer, but think I am swamped. Have many sites I have reconstructed, many forums that I visit every day, plus Mfr sites, and REVIEW SITES.

Between my Parental Caregiving duties, Chief Cook and Bottle Washer etc and visiting the Web sites I now have, keeps me pretty occupied.
I have a decent collection of Revolvers, Pistols, Shotguns and Long Guns but due to my circumstances, haven't had a chance to practice much for the last few years. Get to check out my firearms for preventative maintenance AFTER my 87 yr old Mom retires for the night. Don't dare bring them out while she up and about, she would like to do nasty things with them. SOOOOO, I get to read as much as I can , when I have the time or late at night.

Thanks Again, VERY MUCH.
