I have uploaded to you tube various videos of Tri-standard machines in different calibers, sizing machines, primer pocket deburring for 45's, primer punching, and making projectiles.
It is all listed under "Tri-standard"
Hope you like it.

Very nice! Thanks for the link! I had seen these machines in action in videos but didn't know what they were. always learn something here!!

I have the 10th Tri-Standard machine produced. It was made in Sept., 1955, and was called the Load-a-Matic back then. Randy just refurbished it for me and I'm waiting for some brazing on the powder hopper and it will be ready to run again.

I ran one of these machines, along with an Ammo Load automated machine, back in the late 1970's. The Tri-Standard I used back then was manually operated, just like the machine I have now. As long as you keep cases feeding into it, along with bullets, primers and powder, it will produce loaded ammunition as fast as you can pull the handle.

Hope this helps.

I have only seen one of these in blurry black and white photos. Glad that someone here has an interest in rebuilding them. Was it Fred Dierks that designed these machines? They really look a lot like the Camdex or Ammoload machines that came later so I am guessing that the Tri-Standard design was "borrowed from" in the later designs. I have a couple of Camdex machines in the garage that I have been slowly bringing back to life, one of these might look good sitting next to them :).

Some of the videos show various still pictures of the machines and some of the other videos show them in action. I didn't watch all of them, as I'm familiar with the machine.

Hope this helps.
