Shotgun Instructor Course May 17-19, 2004 Gadsden, Alabama.
This course will cover gunhandling, marksmanship and tactical use of the shotgun, shooting on the move, team drills, field applicable firing positions, and transition to a secondary weapon (i.e. handgun). The course will cover target reading and diagnosis of shooting problems, as well as target ideas for practical range training. All topics will be covered from an instructional perspective, and students will have the opportunity to practice teaching techniques and diagnoses.
Equipment: 300 rounds of birdshot, fifty rounds buckshot, sixty rounds of slugs, and 100 rounds of handgun amunition. A sling, weapon mounted flashlight, hand-held flashlight, duty rig, spare magazines/speed loaders (at least one), eye and ear protection.
Tuition is $425.00. Adeposit of $125.00 or purchase order is required to hold a space in the class. Enrollment cutoff is March 17, 2004.
