Went to the range this weekend with a box of 180gr lead ball ammo reloads from Dick's Sporting goods. My SW40VE ate 150rds like it was nothing! This makes 750rds I've put through the gun with ZERO issues. Expensive SD Hollowpoints, cheap Remington wad-cutters, el-cheapo Russian Wolf steel-cased, they all went BANG and spit the casings flawlessly.:D
I grew up on revolvers, so the DAO trigger feels normal to me. I like the reduced carry weight of the "Tupperware" frame, and with consistant 4" groups @ 25', I'm very happy with it as a CCW.
Still waiting on the $50 rebate from S&W, however...

Sigma pistols are very inexpensive, reliable handguns. I bought a Sigma 40VE 2 years ago & have been happy with it ever since. It has over 3000 rounds through it so far and has proven itself reliable enough to carry as a self defense handgun.

Sounds like my taurus. Ive got 1200 rounds through it without a SINGLE malfunction. I dont know why people bash certain firearms simply because they paid twice the price for theirs. How did you like the trigger?

I didn't mind the trigger much, since I'm used to revolvers, like I said. I DID, however, disassemble the trigger and polish the applicable parts to smooth the gritty action. I left all springs intact, however. I like having the same action, every time, IMHO.
