I'm currently using Peltor Tac 7. They work well but do not like using them with a rifle. I'm looking for Low Profile Amplified Protectors... preferably a set that uses a 9volt is possible. Please recommend some brands. Price not an issue. Thanks

Howard Leight Impact Sports are all I recommend. They're effective and reliable. The reliable part is the big issue for me since I've experienced equipment failures from several other manufacturers, but never for the the Howard Leights.

I have a paie of the Howard Leight pictured above.
I also have a jack on mine to plug something in. Is that an input or output jack?

That's an input jack, so you can listen to the theme from Red Dawn on your iPod while shooting.

Or, Jamie's Got A Gun, Pistol Packin' Mama, Happiness Is A Warm Gun, Praise The Lord And Pass The Ammunition, Saturday Night Special, Big Iron, Bang Bang (My Baby Shot Me Down), I Shot The Sheriff, Lawyers Guns And Money, Annie Get Your Gun, Shot In The Dark, Hit Me With Your Best Shot, Shooting Star...

Cause most the music today is not great.
Anyway, I'm interested in the Pro Ears G300 series. The cost is a low car payment. The issue is the return policy from Optic'sPlanet...... return any UNUSED item for full credit. Buy em but don't try em. I would like the option of return if they are not worth the price tag.

I like to run the Howard Leight muffs with surefire sonic defenders underneath. My father is deaf in one ear from shooting and likes to remind me.

I received a set of Predator Gold Pro Ears from Amazon. Their price was $250 shipped compared to $289.99-$299.99 elsewhere. I tried them on and took them off in about 15 seconds. Very tight and uncomfortable. Non adjustable. They are going back. I'm staying with my Tac 7's for now.
