DES Training is hosting Defensive Concepts North Carolina's Lowlight Pistol course. The course will take place at DES's classroom facility and at a local indoor range. It will consist of a classroom presentation, discussion, and live fire practice on the range. The round count for this course will be 300 rounds. Obviously students will need to bring a flashlight and spare btteries with them. If you have any questions about the class, please PM me or email me at [email protected].

If you wish to sign up for this course or have a question about pricing, please contact DeWayne or Elizabeth Saunders with DES Training by email at [email protected] or by phone @ 803-980-4568. DES Training is handling all course registrations, not us. The course is not listed on our website nor is it listed on the course registration sheet.

man there is just not enough people that offer low light training out there. If i wasn't in the sandbox i would be there. i hope there is a good turn out, as too many people neglect training in the first place, and especially low light which is one of the most important tasks that defensive minded people should be profficent at.

Heck, if it wasn't during my exam week, I'd be there. Sounds like it will be a great (and fun) course.

This is the second time DES has had us down there to teach this course and I'm sure we'll be back down there next year. If you guys are interested in attending future courses, go to our website (www.defensiveconceptsnc.com ) and sign up for our email notifications. You can also contact DES and tell them that you are interested in this course, but cant make the 13 Dec. course and want to attend a future date. They will put you on a list and keep you in the loop.

i can assure you that i have been on your email list for a while, and checking you guys schedule religiously for a while, just waiting to find a class that fits my schedule, the Army has taken alot and i mean alot of my time the last year + and now i am deployed again. however i will do my best to get in a course of ya'lls when i return while on leave, as your classes are not far from where i am from. i look foward to it, and it will be good to train somewhere new.

Gee, glad I just now saw this post haha. Not that it matters, since I was stuck in court all that day anyway.

Low light training is good stuff. I went through a local low light class Sunday for the third time I think. Anybody who hasn't experienced shooting their pistol in a low light environment owes it to themsleves to do it, alot of untrue myths and perceptions are put to sleep.
