Defensive Concepts North Carolina will be teaching our 1 day Defensive Handgun – Lowlight 1 in Fayetteville, NC on 4 December. Here is a brief run down about the course:
Defensive Handgun – Lowlight 1 is the first in a series of courses designed specifically to aid students in becoming more comfortable and skilled in using their handguns in a lowlight environment. Topics covered in this course include: principles of lowlight operations, handheld illumination techniques, use of the weapon mounted light, use of cover, desirable features for light selection, and more.
Prerequisites:
Completion of an approved level 1 handgun course (email for more information)
Active law enforcement
The course tuition is $175 which includes a $25 range fee.
Equipment Requirements:
Functional pistol
3 spare magazines/speedloaders
500 rounds of ammunition
Sturdy dominant side hip or thigh holster (must allow weapon light if pistol is so equipped)
Magazine pouch
2 Handheld flashlights w/ spare batteries
Weapon-mounted light (optional)
