Hey, all you guys and gals who have the .223 LTR. Has anyone tried shooting the 77's through there gun to see if they stabalize? Just curious on this, because i have heard the 69's do fine, but was curious if the 77's will perform??

I have tried the 75 Hornady with decent success, yes they are stabilizing. However, I have had better luck with the 68s and 69s...

I, too, will be trying some 77s and I'll advise my results. FWIW, I used the Tubb final finish kit in my LTR and it uses Sierra 80s, loaded very light. They were not particulary accurate, but were not keyholing at all. That is an 80 grain loaded to mag length, not optimal to say the least.....

I need to be educated. What the heck is a LTR? and what is the twist?

LTR = Light TACTICAL Rifle, a Remington 700 shorty.

Someone over at another forum said they were able to get the 75's to shoot pretty well out of their LTR.
