Lube for sear/hammer surfaces

Any other companies like Volquartsen specifically saying NOT to lube the sear/hammer interface? VQ claims it will cause a malfunction (they don't specify what, exactly). I use both CLP and Brownell's Action Lube+ with good results.

Another good one is a product called Slick 50 One Lube Grease, made by the same folks as the Slick 50 engine oil additive. You can usually find it at Wal-Mart by the wheel bearing grease. It is a teflon based grease, and works great on hammers, sears, bolt action rifle locking lugs, rotating bolts on Garand type weapons, etc. Good Stuff.
