I was given a Turkish K. Kale 1941 marked rifle. The bolt isn't matching which I'm sure is why the head space is excessive. I was told that a no-go will chamber, but he didn't know if the smith had tried the field guage. Regardless, the barrel is in bad shape, especially at the muzzle. I had the thought of buying a finished barrel for a 96 Swede in 6.5X55 from Lothar Walther, and leaving it in the original stock. Has anyone used one of these barrels for a similar re barrel that could give me an opinion. It's going to be a donor action regardless.
