First of all I do enjoy this die. It simplifies the process significantly on my turret press. And the expand die has a taper that works well for seating lead bullets. But I have a bit of a problem and was wondering if anyone else was experiencing the same thing.
The appropriate expander screws in to a sleeve that's supposed to slide in to the die and be tightened by a set screw. Unfortunately the sleeve fits SOOO tight in the die that it's extremely difficult just to get the sleeve in/out of the die. I had to use a hammer and punch to get the sleeve out.
I was wondering if anyone else is experiencing this problem. I'm thinking they had a issue when machining the inside diameter of the die since both the short and long sleeves are binding inside the die. I plan to call Lyman tomorrow but thought I'd check here to see if it was a 1-off problem or common issue.
Thanks
