I picked one up for cheap this weekend, just for nostalgia.
It came with a full set of .357/.38spcl dies, 30-30WCF dies and .308 dies.
Its in need of a repaint but the darn thing is smooth!
Not bad for $40!
Downfall, it takes the old Lyman 310 5/8"x 30 TPI dies, and the "J" type shell holders. I can get a "J" type to RCBS type adapter, no worries there. I hear that someone makes a 7/8'x14 TPI turret for the TLjr, but I can't find his info.
Now, from what I know about this press and playing with one years ago, they aren't really suited for rifle, just not heavy duty enough. I'm going to try to do my lead bullet 30-30 reloading on it or possibly trade the dies I have for a set of .44mag dies
Not really sure, but it will look nice next to the old Rock Chuckers and Pacific "C" I have sitting around for fun.
I'm beginning the resto on it today.
If you all have any info on this press to further help me have fun with it, post up!
