M&P 15-22 and bulk .22lr ammo?

How does the M&P 15-22 work with bulk .22lr ammo? I usually use the Federal bulk packs as I feel it works better than other bulk .22lr ammo.

I am considering getting an M&P 15-22 as a fun, low cost gun to shoot. But if I can't run the bulk ammo through it I will probably pass.

Mine has run federal Bulk with no problems. It absolutely does not like Remington Bulk.

Yeah remington bulk sucks anyway, even my 10/22 doesn't like it all the time. Good to know they will eat the federal though. Did you have to break it in on CCI or did you run federal from the start?

I bought my 15-22 and it has run everything, I've had problems with remington primers not going off, but i've had that problem in all my .22's. Accuracy was about the same for all ammo with a slight preferance for the federal bulk and cci mini-mags.

I started on Federal right from the get go.

Only one I've had problems with was Remington bulk. CCI and Winchester have been fine.

Mine loves everythng except Rem. LOVES the Federal bulk, and accuracy with the Fed Bulk is better than most higher priced stuff..(smile)
