M&P 2.0 Safety Question

I'm being offered an M&P 2.0 45 with a safety for a great price. I'd prefer one without the safety, but for the price it's hard to turn this one down. Is anyone aware of any quality issues with their safety? I've done a couple of internet searches and all I could find was a person who had debris in the gun that prevented him from disengaging the safety.
