The U stands for U-G-L-Y. Make no mistake, I'm a big Smith fan, but this Glockish gun fell off the ugly tree and hit every branch on the way down. What WERE they thinking? I held one at a Miami gunshop the other day and the owner was telling me what a great gun it was. Ha. All I could think about was the U word. Asking price was $550.

There seems to be a mixed bag of opinion here on THR regarding this gun. I just can't believe that no one commented on how pretty it ain't.

Just my 2 cents.

Well, what did you think of the M&P fullsize?

Most of the autopistol looks are an acquired taste. Especially with the polymer guns. Glocks are about the ugliest, least graceful guns around. But they're tough and they work. That's what makes them insanely popular.

Funny, I actually owned a full sized M&P and liked it. Shot great, minimal recoil. Quality value gun. 500 rounds through it, no FTF or FTE. Looks didn't bother me. I sold it and bought the CS9 when I got my CHL. I wasn't thrilled about the polymer. However, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

You guys are harsh. It isn't that bad, in fact I like it. :D My only complaint is that they should include 2 mags with the extension instead of just 1. I guess I am just weird anyways....heck I just bought a tan/black XD45 so what can I say.
