M&P gaps

Probably a dumb question, but why do all of the m&p semi autos have the gaps between the slide and frame.

Probably a dumb question, but why do all of the m&p semi autos have the gaps between the slide and frame.

Probably because the rails don't run the full length of the frames like with a 1911 style pistol.

Hold a 1911 up to a light & you can see the recoil spring. The bottom line is that it's not an issue. Get over it & forget it.
