M&P15-22p Pistol?

New M&P15 style pistol

Not sure that this belongs in the rifle forum, but since it is based on the AR15, I thought it would fit best here. I don't know why, but this looks like it would be a fun gun. Thoughts?

It does look like a Fun little gun.

S&W is coming out with alot of plastic "polymer" firearms lately. Im not 100% sure if i like the poly idea on everything. I went to BIG 5 Sporting goods and they have the .22 AR15 there and i was shocked when i picked it up! Even the BUIS system was all Polymer!

Its just a little tooo cheap feeling for me. I like the look of it and that it is a .22 but i just wish they would add a little more... Girth to it. They are almost starting to feel like .22 Airsoft Rifles.

Still looks like a good time thow. Thats my 2 cents!

I really like my M&P 15-22 carbine, but I am not sure what to make of the pistol. That seems like an awfully large .22 pistol.

The pistol would make a nice SBR, if you could find a folding stock for it.

Other wise, it looks to be a large, heavy pistol that's hard to grasp.

It would make a cool SBR but the buffer tube is molded as part of the receiver on the rifle version so you'd have a tough time adapting a buttstock to the pistol.

"Tactical" .22's are a lot of fun but it's a shame that you can't have an intelligent discussion about them without being labeled a mall ninja.
