Hi all,
..M1 Garands with 2 groove barrels had only a -16 fps / -45 fps drop in velocities against a -94 fps drop in the Model of 1903 2 groove barrels. A M1 Garand with a 4 groove barrel shows a + 25 fps increase in its velocities. Odd isn't it??

I was always told a bolt action held pressure better than a semi-auto, but this is the exact opposite. But then, you're showing a difference in velocity between 2-groove and 4-groove barrels. I haven't found out how that works yet.
