M1 carbine question

I have a inland carbine, with bavaria forestry police-s marked on the reciever, on the trigger gaurd it says LGK SB 0253 the barrel is marked inland mfg. div general motors 6-44,, does anyone know anything about this gun or what it might be worth?

Hard to say without pictures or barrel wear, but figure $600.00 basement, $750.00+ depending on shape. If it has an import mark that will detract some.

Look on the bottom of the barrel near the front sight and see if there is anyone's import stamp. That will affect value for some collectors but not necessarily as a shooter.
