M1/Firing Pins Quiz

Gentlemen,
Many of you have asked for a really easy quiz. OK, so here's one for all of you:

During early rebuilding of the M1 Garand Rifles Ordnance wanted replacement of all "Old Style full round Firing Pins shall be replaced."
Here's the quiz:
What did they do with the old round pins on early rebuild of the M1 Garand??

The answer to the above quiz is as follows:


Ordnance was so short of parts and funds, they were trying to save any thing off the M1 Garand. The order stated that they no longer were to be sent back to be changed over.
