M1 Garand load

I made my first 8 rounds for my M1. OAL is 3.302 i loaded it with a 150 Gr game king pushed with 46 grains of IMR 4895. Do you guys think that it will be to hot or to light inpu will be greatly appreciated.

You're right there in the money. Should be fine.

I use a charge of 46.0gr H4895 under the same weight bullet for my Garand ammo. IMR and Hodgdon 4895 are slightly different but not different enough to worry about your charge of 46.0gr, that should shoot very well.

Good load. I use Sierra 150 gr. FMJ behind 47 gr of IMR 4895 with a light crimp. Been using using CCI 34 primers as well.
