M1 tactical sling?

Is there such a critter for the M1 that allows your rifle to hang freely such as the Giles system?

I've found the Wilderness M14 Giles sling fits the M1 equally well.

You can get pretty much any 3-point tactical sling to fit on your M1 Garand. A tactical sling made for an M16 would work fine because the sling attachments are similar and the velcro straps would be adjustable enough for the difference in stock width. Thanks for posting the question. That sounds like something I need to get for my M1A.

On a related note, has anyone see a good system for carrying M14 mags? I have a satchel bag, but it is pretty heavy. Most load bearing systems are set up for M16 and AK mags.
