M1 thompson off to the factory

I sent my M1 Thompson back to Auto-Ordinance today. It worked great for awhile then it started double feeding, it didn't matter what kind of ammo I used just straight double feeds. I ripped her apart and gave her a through cleaning and it didn't fix the problem, so I had to send her back to the factory.

At one time I really wanted one of those, the one that can use the drum. And it's kind of funny because once I got to actually hold one I changed my mind. It just felt so unbalanced and awkward that I decided I didn't want one after all.

But, sorry to hear you have problems, and hopefully it will be returned quickly.

And I have to ask how you like it? Part of me would still like to have one.

I love it. Like you said it's awkward and pretty much useless, the only thing its good at is chewing up .45 shells. They don't shoot to bad either.
