I'm currently in the midst of cleaning up my "new" CMP Springfield M1903 and when I got to this it didn't look right. Is my ejector cracked (little 'v' on top, right of the retaining pin hole)? If so - 1) is this a common problem? and 2) anybody know where I can get a replacement?

BTW - rifle was built in 1932, and still has the original (I assume) barrel, dated 8 - 31. Rifling looks good, finish on both the metal and the wood is excellent. Information gleaned from other boards indicate she is a Greek re-import (last 4 digits of S/N etched into top of bolt handle, 'B' stamped on magazine floorplate to indicate the floorplate is pinned in place, and (sure enough) a brass pin holding floorplate on). No import marks or stamps.

Really looking forward to shooting the grand old girl...

Looks cracked.
If you bought the rifle from the CMP, call them and they'll send you a new part.
