So I'm eating at a restaurant and CNN is on..

The reporter (don't know what he was thinking.. if he was) started by saying "A few skirmishes still went on... Here are pictures taken earlier of some US forces against some Iraqi resistance... With the US being HEAVILY outnumbered... almost 1000:1."

Err...

What he failed to mention was, the Iraqi's had rocks, and were just chucking rocks at the M1A, while it just continued to roll and roll. A gunner popped out of the dust-storm and fired one round from the gun up top (is that a 50Cal??) and you should have seem the people run!

Hmm...

It irks me to watch CNN continue and attempt to paint bleak pictures of the American soldiers in their presentations of the editorial errr... what they call news.

BTW.. In case you wondered.. they showed 1 M1A vs. about 2-3 thousand Iraqi's with rocks.. Guess who won that sqirmish??

Man.... I gotta get me an M1A! That would solve that LA traffic problem!

and a side note to the Iraqis...unless you are dropping a 5,000 Lb boulder from a chopper on that Abrams....that rock-throwing plan ain't workin'

The M1A2 carries 12k of linked .308 for the loader's and the coax M240s. Iraqis with rocks can feel free to try to ding the paint, if, in return, the Americans can try to melt some M240 barrels.
