I see that CMP has a few M1D's for sale. No scope or accessories included. They run from $1500 To $2300 depending on grade. I see that Sarco has original M84 scopes for $695. So at the mininam to get a complete M1D you looking at around $2300 to $2400.

    Is this worth the Price?

I see at Auction arms there is a M1D for $2750 thats looks pretty good.

Just wondering whats the better route to go. Will the CMP gun be worth more, sine it has the CMP paperwork saying its a M1D?

    Thanks

I think Fulton Armory make new M1 Garands with an M1D configuration.

YES. That is the only way to get a genuine M1D. I wouldn't touch that Auction Arms rifle.

If you buy from CMP you're getting the real deal with a certificate. If you just want the look there are other ways.

Thats what i was thinking. Just hate the though of doing a search for the parts to finish it off.

Like i said can get the real M84 scope. But all i ahve yet are repro mounts.
